Abstract	The purpose of this study is to understand the four women’s experiences of parenting teenagers. The data were collected from the interviews with four women who have the experience of parenting teenagers from June 2016 to January 2017 and analyzed the data, using qualitative research methods. The study defined nine themes were defined; ‘reaching puberty’, ‘responding in the name of mom : push, persuade, avoid’, ‘being hurt’, ‘collapse of clock-like constant life’, ‘can not do anything : loss and absence’, ‘standing alone’, ‘from an anonymous being to becoming unique’, ‘Gazing at child’s face’, ‘dancing with the child’, ‘the appearance of subjectum : becoming a mom.’ And three bundles of subject such as ‘see the incident of not to ready but can expect’, ‘looks back on a life I lived in my name’, ‘becoming a mom : from to be a mom to becoming a mom.’ The experience of parenting teenagers is summarized to show the essential subject of “waking up from being an anonymous existence and opening a new chapter to live an existential life”
